VOID IN THE CLOUDS is a fashion project, exploring the emptiness around us that however unreal at times, has the ability to incapacitate. On the other hand, this same void is what eventually creates a need to escape it and fulfil it, and can motivate us to get out of that same trap. As void is a recognised emptiness: no matter how it seems to be nothing, somehow it is the underlying force behind everything. A grinding thought process just as an urge to eliminate it, and by all this we give ground to something fantastic to happen.
The bodice is hand-stitched leather, the skirt is hand-dyed silk and merino wool, just as the headpiece.
